As Hurricane Ian hits Florida, some counties, such as Alachua, have declared a local state of emergency. Pharmacies have announced they will be closed, and people will be transitioning into shelters or evacuating. Due to the urgency, many who need medication will forget their prescriptions while others who have emergency health situations will be without.
After responding to hurricanes and other natural disasters over the last forty years, we know the life-threatening situations this creates for those affected. But we also know that through God’s grace, we can be ready to help responders.
We have already received requests for help and assistance. We are asking you to support the people of Florida by donating to our emergency disaster relief fund and helping us to bring hope to the hurting.
