What is Blessings MedEd?

Have you ever struggled with deciding between a mission trip and a vacation with your family because you only had so many vacation hours? What if you could do both?

At Blessings International, we recognize that your training and medical skills would be a blessing on the mission field, and we want to help you get there with Blessings MedEd.

Blessings MedEd connects providers with continuing education courses so that they can use their continuing medical education (CME) or continuing nursing education (CNE) hours toward a mission trip.

How It Works

When an organization places an order of $1,500 or more, they will receive access to continuing education courses through an association we’ve partnered with. Each code is valid for one year, and offers 20% off each CME/CNE course offered through the portal. There’s no limit to how many people can use the code.

Providers who take the courses are able to itemize their mission trip or medical outreach under their required continuing education hours, allowing participants to learn and serve on the mission field, while also connecting NGOs with needed medical providers.*

Benefits

• Accreditation. CME courses are accredited for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit^TM. Physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and CNAs can apply to their respective professions for recognition of credit. AMA PRA Category 1 Credit^TM is generally universally recognized across professions.
  Courses are also accredited for continuing nursing education by the Midwest Multi-state Division.
• Convenience. Participants are able to access their selected coursework over a one-year period via an online portal. They can complete courses before, during, or after their mission trip. Also, they are able to save time not having to research course providers.
• Mission-related learning. Courses offered are relevant beyond U.S. health and provide invaluable knowledge useful for many mission trips to come.
• Save paid time off. Using CME/CNE time for a mission trip allows medical providers to serve and learn without losing the limited time they need for personal use.
• Unlimited. Any medical provider needing continuing education is eligible. Also, there’s no limit to how many people on a team can use your access code.
