Name: Ann Marie Killough

When you began working at Blessings: February 13, 2023

Role: Order Processing Team

In your own words, describe what you do and the part you play at Blessings:

I help process the orders. First, by working on the compliance piece, and then when that is finished, looking at inventory and reaching out to the partner regarding out-of-stock items and possible substitutions.

What’s something about you that would surprise us?

My multi-generational family left California, selling our homes and getting rid of everything. I quit my 20+ years teaching career and pulled my daughter out of high school to move to Oklahoma. It was the best decision we ever made, no regrets. A roller-coaster ride for sure, but God is so good and faithful!

What is your favorite aspect of your job?

Talking and praying with our partners as we work through their order. They are the hands and feet of Jesus as they serve Him domestically and internationally.

Where have you served in a missional capacity?

I’ve done domestic mission trips all over the West Coast. I served for a summer in North Dakota with the North American Mission Board. I have been to Mexico on a short-term mission trip. In March of this year, I spent a week in Eswatini serving alongside my daughter, Hannah, who was there with Adventures in Missions Gap Year program-which we learned about from Bernie!!

Where/How would you like to serve in the future?

Anywhere the Lord would have me go, doing whatever He would want me to do!

What was your last staff devotional about?

It was on Revelation 1:8. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Whatever is going on in your life today, here is a fact you can cling to: The One who is the Alpha and Omega controls the outcome of this world as well as the details of your life. He knows where your story and His story are going, and nothing can alter His good intentions or perfect will.

Is there a recent accomplishment you’re proud of?

After my daughter, Hannah, graduated high school in May 2023, she left in September for a 9-month mission trip across the world, serving in Guatemala, Cambodia, Vietnam, Eswatini, and South Africa. Both of our lives were radically changed through this experience. God allowed us to be a part of this special journey in spreading the Good News, while meeting the tangible needs of the communities we served.

What is your best memory here at Blessings?

Blessings International is a very special place. It has been a vessel of healing and restoration for me. So, I think when we gather around the table over a meal, whether it is a birthday celebration, a holiday tradition, or a “just because” moment, it’s these memories that I cherish the most, where we sit, exchange stories, pray, laugh, and cry together.
