If you had to compare yourself to a book/movie/TVcharacter, who would you be, and why?
MacGyver because I try to be resourcefuland inventive while solving problems.
In your own words, describe what you do andthe part you play at Blessings:
I’m the receiving associate. I am responsible for receiving everything that comes into the warehouse and entering it accurately into our system. I am responsible for organizing and labeling our shelves. I also assist in putting together orders and shipping them.
What is your favorite aspect of your job?
I enjoy being around my coworkers. I also like that my job is very detail oriented.
Where have you served in a missional capacity?
I’ve served with my church and youth group at several homeless shelters and kitchens in Kansas City, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City.
Where/How would you like to serve in the future?
I would like to serve more to help the homeless population in Tulsa and Broken Arrow as well as possibly in Mexico and Central America.
What was your last staff devotional about?
It was about correcting our mistakes and correcting our course when necessary to live God’s way.
What is your best memory here at Blessings?
The Christmas lunch in December 2022 and the off-site day in March of 2023.
