In February, our warehouse manager, Jean Toussaint, traveled with Mission Partners for Christ to Guinea, West Africa, where malaria remains the leading cause of death. With over 4.5 million cases and nearly 9,500 deaths reported in Guinea in 2021, the burden is staggering.

Every day, Jean’s team set up makeshift clinics in remote villages, providing life-saving treatment and medications. Thanks to Blessings International’s antimalarials, many suffering from malaria received care. “If we don’t provide this medicine, they simply go without,” Jean explained.

Malaria continues to devastate nations like Guinea, but hope is not out of reach. That’s why Blessings offers free antimalarials during April & May to teams traveling to malaria-impacted regions. This is only possible with the generous help of supporters like you! See below for more information about how you can support teams this April and May.

Jean prayed with patients, encouraged them, and saw firsthand their longing for hope. “Although the trip was medical, it was a way to successfully share God with these people, to show them life beyond the suffering they experience.” The team intentionally shared the Gospel, and many gave their lives to Christ, including an elderly woman and the village chief.
